About Food Manager Prep
Updated October 2026 · Based on the FDA Food Code 2022 (the edition the exams follow) and the new 2026 edition
Food Manager Prep exists for one reason: to get you through your Certified Food Protection Manager exam on the first attempt, whether you take the ServSafe Manager exam or the NRFSP exam.
How the material is built
Every rule, number and definition on this site is taken from public sources: mainly the FDA Food Code (the 2022 edition the exams follow, and the 2026 edition released on September 17, 2026), plus pages from FDA, CDC, USDA, ANAB and the exam providers' own public information on format, prices and retakes. Each practice question points back to the Food Code section it tests. Where sources disagree, as with the ServSafe passing score, the page says so.
When FDA publishes a new Food Code, or an exam provider changes its format or prices, the pages and the study guide are updated, and the date at the top of each page changes with it.
What this site is not
This is an independent study resource. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the National Restaurant Association, ServSafe, NRFSP, FDA or any health department. It does not sell or schedule the exam, it does not use or reproduce any exam questions or course material, and it does not give legal advice. Your state or local food code is the law that applies to you; always check it with your health department.
Found a mistake?
Exam candidates rely on these numbers. If something looks wrong or outdated, write to contact@synaris.fr and it will be checked against the Food Code text and corrected.
